The disciples of the Sages asked, "Who were the NEFILIM? It means 'fallen'." They said, "They were the off-spring of humans who had mated with angels, as is is said, 'sons of G-d came into human women'. They were called NEFILIM because they caused the human race to fall into sin. The human race gladly accepted the matings of angels because they thought within themsleves to become like gods, having celestial beings as their progenitors." 5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. In that he wished to have divine powers and looked to the power of sex with which to bring it about. 7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. The disciples of the Sages asked, "Why did G-d choose to destroy the animals along with humankind?" They answered, "Even the beasts had perverted their ways along with mankind." 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. Even if the animals refused to copulate with humans, they forced them violently. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. The Sages said, "All flesh is interpreted that the animals themselves agreed to copulate with people without coercion, and with other species not their own kind." 13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; The males perpertrated violence in that they forced the females who were not willing to mate with beasts. 17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. For they said, "Have we not copulated with angels and produced mighty men? Now let us copulate with animals and thereby our off-spring shall have all their powers and become like gods." So they set themsleves this task, hoping that their off-spring would be like divine beings, having the strength and speed of beasts, and being able to fly to heaven like gods. Meshal was the leader of his tribe, and he first decreed the celebration of Full Moon Night. At his order the whole tribe had come togther that night in the village square to take up the celebration. Late into the night they had danced around the fires and drunk wine until intoxication made them lose all restraints - for they knew what they must do. Meshal arose from his seat of honor where he had witnessed the reveling and merry making. He looked at the sky. It was cloudless and the full moon shone down benignly on the village. Meshal beckoned to the people of his village and they fell into a single line and followed him to the corral. There all the animals of the village were pent up together. As the people neared the corral the animals began to stir, sensing the unbridled mood of the crowd. Quietly the line of people broke and they formed a circle around the corral. Some of the larger beasts shifted uncomfortably, the horses and the bulls, and their nervousness communicated itself to the goats and the sheep who also began to move about agitatedly. The dogs however remained quiet, looking at the people for a sign. They were the most patient and obedient of all the creatures in the village, and the most trusting. Meshal approached the wooden fence of the corral and he placed his hands on it and looked over all the beasts, nodding in approval. He spoke. He addressed the animals. "My brothers", he began. Tonight is a glorious night for us all. You and we together shall begin this night to create ourselves as divine. The Creator has kept us divided so that our powers remain isolated, and He has forbidden us join ourselves to each other so that all of our powers may become one - so that we may become divine and powerfull as He is. For it is now as it was at the beginning when the Great Serpent told our first Mother and Father that on the day they wouold eat of the forbidden fruit, that they would become like gods, having knowledge of all good and ecil in the world. And as he said to them, so it was. When they hearkened to the Great Serpent, their eyes opened and they become like gods in knowledge of the world. And they would have eaten also of that other tree, the Tree of Life and have become immortal and powerfull. But the Creator, seeing that they were about to set themselves to become powerfull and immortal as He, He cast them out of that place and removed the Great Serpent from their midst, and they were bereft, all alone in the world. The very animals that they were to govern became afraid of them, and would not associate with them. Thus our ancestors were deprived of the opportunity to discover the power of co-mingling seed to achieve divinity and immortality. Then the angels came down from heaven and revealed the secret of the power of coupling. For they went into our women, and behold their seed produced the Nefilim, the mighty ones among us, powerfull men who are giants. And they were they who taught us that while the Creator decrees a separation among the species of the earth, this separation prevents us all from achieving our destiny as gods just as not partaking of the Knowledge Tree would have prevented us from beginning our ascent to godhood. For then we would have still been living in ignorance, not knowing that the power of creation lies within our very selves, between our thighs. Tonight you will share with us in the holy mingling, our seed with yours. Tonight, with the full moon as our witness, we will sire gods!" Meshal raised his arms as a signal to is people. They began to move towards the gate of the corral. Opening the gate, they began to file in, approaching the bewildered animals. The ruminants and horses nervously backed away from the approaching humans but the dogs began barking and menacing the other beasts, warning them to stand their ground and allow the people to do what they would do. The dogs fanned out and surrounded the other beasts. Growling and snarling, they sent out their warning that they would attack any beast that resisted. The cloudless sky allowed the full moon to cast its bright light down, lending an eerie glow to the moving figures in the corral. Suddenly a man appeared on the perimeter of the village. He walked quickly toward the assembled crowd, waving his arms frantically and shouting. The people looked up. They turned to face him as he neared. Meshal sneered. "It is that boat builder," he said in disgust, "he who separates himself from us." The man came near and spoke to Meshal. "I beg you, sir. Stop this. Do not sin further with these dumb creatures. Do not cause them to partake in your sin." Meshal smiled. He replied, "Who are you, Noah, to come here and tell us what to do and what not to do? You who have separated yourself from us have no place here among us now. We do not recognize you as a prophet or as a teacher." He paused, then continued, "You yourself capture animals and bring them to the big house you have built. What do you use them for in that big house? Do you not use them for your own pleasure or to spawn mighty ones?" A look of disgust came over Noah's face. He shook his head and replied, "They are not mine to use in that sinfull way. The L--d has commanded me to gather them together for His purpose." Meshal smiled again and asked, "Who is the L--d, and what might His purpose be?" Noah's voice softened. "So that they may remain pure and undefiled in the new world that He wil bring about." Meshal grimaced. "New world!", he shouted, "The only new world there will be is the new world WE shall create when all men shall be as gods Now go! You are not welcome here!" Noah stared at him, then turned his gaze towards the animals in the corral. He whispered, "Poor brutes, through no fault of your own, you are condemned. The L--d shall take you also when His fury strikes down the chilren of Adam." Meshal stepped towards Noah and pushed him. Noah fell backwards but remained on his feet. "Get out!", Meshal repeated. All the people were silent yet their gazes were malevolent. Noah feared for his life. The full moon beamed down silently. Noah shook his head and walked away. Meshal said to the man standing nearest him, "After this night, we shall deal with him. He shall be destroyed." Meshal The crowd turned their attention away from Noah and back to the gathered beasts. Meshal signalled and several of the men stepped forward and gathered together near the sheep and the goats. Approaching the bewildered animals, they mounted them quickly and began to thrust into the females. The animals bleated but the men held them fast and continued their thrusting until they were finished with their desires. Elsewhere in the corral, Bulls and horses were being led to mount the women that presented themselves with open legs. The intensity within the corral rose as sounds, human and unhuman, broke the silence of the night. Soon, nearly all the people of the village were engaged with the various beasts of their choosing, giving vent to passion and vain hope of immortality. Now at last, came the turn of the dogs, those faithful beasts that had assisted the people in their ritual of god-striving. The young virgins who had kept themselves apart and pure were presented to the mighty canines as the reward for their faithfullness. The young women were laid down and the dogs approached them, sniffing between their soft thighs. Saliva dripped from their dog's mouths asthey began to consume the young women in their sacred and holy regions between their parted legs. The women writhed in pleasure as the dogs did their work. When it seemed that the women could stand no more of the canine tongues, the dogs mounted them and gave them their seed. With the coming of dawn, a silence reigned over the scene at the corral. The animals slept and the people sat and spoke of the new generation of demigods to come from their loins. Meshal gathered his chief men and ordered them to go and find Noah, and to kill him and his family. As the assassins started out to do their task, the sky suddenly became overcast and rain began to fall, gently at first.
