The Bible never disagrees with any proven scientific facts or any other proven
truths. If there is a contradiction between scripture and the scientific
community, it generally comes from a wrong interpretation of scripture, or some
scientific blooper.

These supposed contradiction's can however cause dissension among believers
and also run off those who may have come to read and believe the Bible. The
age of the earth is one of these areas that has always divided the Scientific
and Christian community.

Carbon Dating

Carbon Dating is another area that causes problems between Christians and men
of science. Carbon Dating is a way of determining how old an object is, and
has shown many things to be millions of years old. I felt the same about it as
I did about the dinosaurs. How could believe and teach these things that were
not only wrong, but were completely against what the Bible tells us.

However, the Bible does not teach that the earth was created 6000 years ago.
The Bible simply states that the earth was created in the beginning. It says
nothing about Adam and Eve being created at that time. Also, it plainly states
that Adam and Eve were created to replenish or refill the earth.

In Genesis 1:1 it says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the
earth". NOW Stop right there, and hold it for a minute. It does not mention
when the Heavens or the Earth were created or mention Adam and Eve at all.
Again, it just simply states "Heaven and earth were created in the beginning."

The next verse Genesis 1:2 says "And the Earth was without form and void and
darkness was upon the face of the deep and the Spirit of God moved upon the
face of the waters". In other words, the planet Earth was (it already existed)
but was without form and it was void (empty) and it was Dark, and it was Deep,
and the face of it was water. It was a dark, flooded planet when God came back
to replenish it after flooding it the first time, and an unknown amount of time
may have passed between Gen. 1:1 and 1:2.

Jeremiah the Old Testament Prophet speaks about the Earth before Adam existed
in Chapter 4, verses 23 through 28. "I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was
without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the
mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld,
and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I
beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities
thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger.
For thus has the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not
make a full end.

For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black; because I have
spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back
from it." The Heavens had light in Noah's flood and there were men, Noah's
family along with birds. God had revealed the past to Jeremiah, before the
existence of Adam and Eve.

Refilling the earth

When God came back and formed Adam and Eve out of the dust of the ground about
6000 years ago, His command to them was to re-plenish (or re-fill) it, as
written in Genesis 1:28 "And God blessed Adam and Eve and said to them be
fruitful and multiply and re-plenish the earth".

Now, to replenish or re-fill something, it must have been plennished or filled
before. If you ask for a re-fill on a cup of coffee, it must have been filled
once before. In parallel, after the Second Flood when Noah and his family left
the ark on Mount Ararat as it says in Genesis 8:4 "And the ark rested in the
seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the Mountains of
Ararat".

God gave the same identical command to Noah and his family as He did to Adam
and Eve. We read in Gen. 9:1. "And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to
them, be fruitful and multiply, and re-plenish the earth".

King David the Psalmist also knew there were two floods and writes about them
(Floods Plural) in the Psalms "For he has founded it (the earth) upon the
seas, and established it upon the floods. The floods have lifted up, O LORD,
the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. Let the
Floods clap heir hands: let the hills be joyful together. (Psalms 24:2, 93:3
and 98:8)

Peter also writes of two Floods saying "Where is the promise of his coming?
for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the
beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by
the Word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the
water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with
water, perished." (2nd Peter 3:4-6)

Satan's Role

In order to understand the reason God had for flooding the earth the first
time requires an understanding of who Satan's is and what his roll was. Satan
is an angel, a spirit being created by God sometime back in eternity past, long
before Adam and Eve were created. Satan was given a Kingdom on earth before
the Garden of Eden existed.

Satan (Lucifer) fell from God's Grace through pride and sin, and his attempt
to exalt himself above God. He even entice one third of the angels (Spirit
beings created by God) to rebel against God. They even tried to invade Heaven
but failed, and were cast back to Earth.

Somewhere back in these times the earth was flooded for the first time, long
ago in eternity past, before Adam and Eve's creation. [See Isaiah 14:12-14,
Jer. 4:23-27, Ezekiel. 28:11-17, Luke 10:18; and 2nd Peter 3:4-8]

If you're familiar with scripture, you'll recall Satan was already present in
the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. Satan regained authority of the earth
when he tempted them and they obeyed him. They went against what God had told
them. Gods free will agents Adam and Eve wanted the knowledge of good and
evil, and God gave them what they wanted.

The Giants

The Giants mentioned in the Bible were the cause of the second flood of Noah's
time. These Giants were the children of fallen angels. They were so
impressive they put fear in the hearts of Israel. The spies that returned from
Canaan said, "We were in our own sight as grasshoppers" (See Numbers 13: 33)
Og, one of these Giants, had a bed of iron over eighteen feet long and eight
feet wide. (Deuteronomy 3:11) Goliath, whom David slew, was over thirteen feet
tall. His coat alone weighed 196 pounds and his spearhead weighed 25 pounds
(see 2nd Samuel 17). This crossbreeding between the sons of God and the
daughters of men shows that these giants were not human, and not the children
of men.

Noah and his sons were saved from the Flood because they were pure human
stock, and had preserved their lineage pure from Adam. In Genesis 6:9 we read
"Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations." In other words perfect
in his bloodlines. Satan's purpose in having fallen angels breed with the
daughters of men was to corrupt the human race, and do away with pure Adamite
stock. In that way Christ, the seed of the woman could not come into the world
as foretold.

Satan did this after God gave the "rainbow of promise" that he would never
again flood the earth. Satan may have succeeded a second time, because satan
sent more fallen angels to marry the daughters of men after the flood in Noah's
time.

Gods Chosen Warriors, The Jews

That brought into being Giants again including Goliath, the one that young
David killed with the slingshot. However, instead of a third flood (which God
promised he would not do), God chose the Nation of Israel (The Jewish people)
to be his warrior's and destroy the giant races. God did this to preserve pure
Adamite stock in the earth as planned.

This is told to us in Genesis 6:4: "There were Giants in the earth in those
days [before the flood] and also after that [after the flood], when the sons of
God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them" This
was the reason God flooded the earth a second time during the life of Noah.

God did make an everlasting covenant with man that he would never flood the
earth again. He put rainbows in the sky to remind us, and him of his promise.
As we read in Genesis 9:11-17 God says "I will establish my covenant with you,
neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither
shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. and God said, This is
the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living
creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the
cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow
shall be seen in the cloud: and I will remember my covenant, which is between
me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more
become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I
will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant".
